This work evaluates the performance of cement-based composites made with rice husk and intended to be used in acoustic barriers as thermal insulating material a multilayer system. Because are exposed external conditions mechanical loads, wide range laboratory tests were performed evaluate mechanical, durability characteristics composites. Their specific heat capacity conductivity evaluated when an insulation layer. Other that incorporate treated wood rubber granules studied for comparison purposes. The environmental these new was by means life cycle assessment (LCA). It found those contain suitable coating barriers, since it offers good durability, performance. also can LCA further demonstrated compared containing granules.
