Rhizobium Inoculation Improved the Rhizosphere P Dynamics and P Uptake Capacity of Pigeon Pea Plants Grown in Strongly Weathered Soil Only under P Fertilized Conditions

چکیده
The improvement of phosphorus (P) use efficiency (PUE) is a critical problem in crop production because phosphorus’ scarcity. Especially strongly weathered soil with high P fixation capacity, low PUE generally limits plant growth. Here, 70-day pigeon pea cultivation pot experiment using Ultisols, we evaluated the effects Rhizobium inoculation (−I/+I) on growth, rhizosphere, bulk dynamics, and root acquisition characteristics, or without fertilization (0P: no application; 50SSP:50 kg ha−1 single superphosphate). combination (50SSP + I) increased uptake, organic acid content per by 63%, 41%, 130%, respectively, but not (0P I). labile moderately inorganic (NaHCO3-Pi NaOH-Pi) contents were higher (55% 44%, respectively) rhizosphere than those 50SSP I treatment, indicating efficient solubilization applied under treatment. fertilized was treatment (26%) that 50SSP−I (15%). Thus, these results suggest should stimulate leading to uptake. In conclusion, effectively improved peas soil.

متن کاملp-CAPACITY AND p-HYPERBOLICITY OF SUBMANIFOLDS
We use explicit solutions to a drifted Laplace equation in warped product model spaces as comparison constructions to show phyperbolicity of a large class of submanifolds for p ≥ 2. The condition for p-hyperbolicity is expressed in terms of upper support functions for the radial sectional curvatures of the ambient space and for the radial convexity of the submanifold. In the process of showing ...

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Rhizobium inoculation and the supply of Mo and lime on the uptake of macroelements in P. vulgaris. To achieve this aim, experiments were conducted at the glasshouse of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town (i.e. from August 2008 to January 2009) and field experiment at the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) Nietvoorbij site...

متن کاملCitrate-mediated increase in the uptake of weathered 2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl) 1,1-dichloroethylene residues by plants.
Experiments were conducted to determine the ability of citrate to enhance the plant uptake of weathered 2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)1,1-dichloroethylene (p,p'-DDE) from soil. Plots containing three rows of clover, mustard, hairy vetch, or rye grass were constructed in soils containing p,p'-DDE. On 11 occasions, the rows of each crop received water or sodium citrate (0.005 or 0.05 M). For each crop, ...
