Review: Kandungan Kimia Jahe Merah (Zingiber officinale var. Rubrum) dan Pembuktian In Silico sebagai Inhibitor SARS-CoV-2

Pada akhir tahun 2019, dunia dilanda wabah COVID-19. Penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) dapat menular secara cepat melalui droplet pada saat seseorang batuk, bersin, bahkan berbicara. Penyebaran ini dicegah dengan meningkatkan sistem imun tubuh. Jahe merah merupakan salah satu tanaman mengandung banyak senyawa kimia menjadi imunomodulator bagi Jumlah minyak atsiri, gingerol, dan diarilheptanoid terkandung dalam jahe berturut-turut sebanyak 194, 85, 28 jenis. Studi in silico digunakan untuk memprediksi potensi dari sebagai imunomodulator. Metode terbukti menganalisis memiliki klinis periode singkat biaya murah. Dari hasil penelusuran beberapa penelitian pendekatan , diperoleh bahwa aktivitas inhibitor SARS-CoV-2 diantaranya adalah cyanin, gingeronone A quercetin .
