BackgroundThe purpose of this study is to systematically review the evidence in literature ascertain rate and timing return sport following reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA).MethodsA systematic search based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, using Embase, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library Databases. Eligible inclusion were clinical studies reporting RSA. Statistical analysis was performed SPSS.ResultsOverall, 8 including 455 patients (464 shoulders) met our criteria. The majority female (77.7%), with an average age 74.2 years. overall 79.1%; 66.7% golfers, 74.3% swimmers, 50.0%, tennis players, 94.4% joggers, 69.7% cyclists returning. In addition, 71.4% returned same level sporting activity. time 3.4 months a mean follow-up 34.0 months.Discussion conclusionThe results from show that are able RSA, large number returning sport.
