چکیده

Background . Renal cell carcinoma is one of the most common urologic cancers. Due to development modern diagnostic methods, kidney tumors are often diagnosed at early stages (cT1a-T1b). The golden standard treatment localized renal tumor resection. In retroperitoneoscopic access, time artery access decreased, risk intra- and postoperative complications reduced. Retroperitoneal preferable for located on lateral or posterior surface. Aim To analyze results patients after Materials methods Between 2018 2021, A.F. Tsyb Medical Radiological Research Center - branch National 47 resections were performed (29 (61.7 %) in men, 18 (38.3 women) due stage cT1aN0M0 carcinoma. Retrospective analysis demographic data, comorbid status, characteristics, operative time, blood loss volume, frequency severity per Clavien-Dindo classification was performed. Complexity resection evaluated using R.E.N.A.L. scale. Results Mean patient age 63 (38-79) years, body mass index 29.9 (22-39) kg/m 2 Tumor left 24 (51.0 cases, right 22 (46.8 bilateral lesions 1 (2.2 case. size 22.4 (11-39) mm. Resection had low complexity 35 (74.5 intermediate 12 (25.5 cases. 156 (80-280) minutes, mean warm ischemia 19 (7-32) number with zero 15 (31.9 %), volume 53 (10-300) mL, without parenchyma suturing 10 (21.3 %). hospitalization surgery 5 days. Postoperative observed 4 (8.5 cases: bleeding (severity grade II classification) (2.1 case, infectious II) (4.2 subcutaneous hematoma I) Conclusion Retroperitoneoscopic effective safe. This confirmed by complications. allows reduce pain management medication which accelerates mobilization recovery. Comparative shows that has same effectiveness as laparoscopic

Survival after organ preserving treatment for T4a laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.

We read with interest the study published by Knab et al. [1] that had brought to our attention the need to further investigate the convention that patients with large volume T4 (LVT4) laryngeal tumors (LTs) should be treated with upfront laryngectomy. LVT4 LTs are defined as tumor extension >1 cm into the base of the tongue or extension of the tumor through the thyroid cartilage [2]. Randomized...

Dyspnea as the First Manifestation of Silent Renal Cell Carcinoma

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) accounts for only 3% of adult malignancies, and the lung is the most common site of metastasis of this tumor, which may be accompanied by pleural metastasis. However, solitary pleural involvement is very rare and its presentation with dyspnea as the first manifestation of RCC is extremely rare.We describe a 39-year-old male with episodes of dyspnea dating back 6...
