چکیده
Intercropping plays an essential role in agricultural production, impacting the soil’s physical and chemical properties microbial communities. However, responses of ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms continuous-cropping soil to different intercropping systems growing seasons are still insufficiently studied. Here, we investigated effects seven (alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.)/cucumber, trifolium (Trifolium repens wheat (Triticum aestivum rye (Secale cereale chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum coronrium rape (Brassica campestris mustard juncea L.)/cucumber) on properties, potential nitrification rate (PNR), archaea (AOA), bacteria (AOB) communities greenhouse spring autumn. Effect of Different Ammonia Concentrations on Community Succession of Ammonia-oxidizing Microorganisms in a Simulated Paddy Soil Column
Ammonia oxidation is performed by both ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (AOB) and ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA). To explore the effect of ammonia concentration on the population dynamic changes of ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms, we examined changes in the abundance and community composition of AOA and AOB in different layers. Most of the archaeal amoA sequences were Nitrosotalea-related and the p...
متن کاملResponses of soil ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms to repeated exposure of single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotubes.
The impacts of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) including single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) on soil microbial biomass and microbial community composition (especially on ammonium oxidizing microorganisms) have been evaluated. The first exposure of CNTs lowered the microbial biomass immediately, but the values recovered to the level of the control at the end ...
متن کاملTemperature Responses of Ammonia-Oxidizing Prokaryotes in Freshwater Sediment Microcosms
In order to investigate the effects of temperature on the abundances and community compositions of ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA) and bacteria (AOB), lake microcosms were constructed and incubated at 15°C, 25°C and 35°C for 40 days, respectively. Temperature exhibited different effects on the abundance and diversity of archaeal and bacterial amoA gene. The elevated temperature increased the ab...
متن کاملBioturbation determines the response of benthic ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms to ocean acidification.
Ocean acidification (OA), caused by the dissolution of increasing concentrations of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) in seawater, is projected to cause significant changes to marine ecology and biogeochemistry. Potential impacts on the microbially driven cycling of nitrogen are of particular concern. Specifically, under seawater pH levels approximating future OA scenarios, rates of ammonia oxid...
