Response of Phenolic Compounds in Lippia graveolens Kunth Irrigated with Aquaculture Wastewater and Steiner Solution

Lippia graveolens is one of the most important aromatic species in Mexico due to antioxidant and antibiotic activities reported its essential oil. The aim this work was assess effect irrigation with aquaculture wastewater salicylic acid addition on production phenolic compounds L. graveolens. plants (14) were irrigated using Steiner solution for 28 days; at same time, exogenously applied 0.0 (control), 0.5 1.0 mM concentrations both treatments 5 19 experimental days. total content measured by Folin–Ciocalteu, flavonoid determined aluminum chloride method, capacity DPPH FRAP assays. results showed an increase (17.25 ± 2.35 38.16 4.47 mg eq GA·g⁻1 W). higher (98.52 T·g⁻1 In conclusion, leads Steiner-solution plants.
