A unified approach is developed for the analysis of singularities scattered field and vanishing scattering harmonics. Rigorous proofs are presented existence complex resonance solution to problem plane wave by a circular homogeneous dielectric cylinder. The method employs mathematically correct spectral theory open structures involving generalized conditions at infinity when frequencies may be considered. result obtained verifying series coefficients considered as functions parameters. recently cylindrical polynomials (GCPs) used that enables one reduce determination (resonances) finding zeros (real or complex) particular subfamily GCPs.
