This review considers the influence of resin-rich volumes (RRV) on static and dynamic mechanical physical behaviour fibre-reinforced composites. The formation, shape size, measurement RRV in composites, depending upon different fabric architectures manufacturing processes, is discussed. majority studies show a negative effect composite materials. main factors that cause are (a) clustering fibres as bundles textiles, (b) stacking sequence, (c) consolidation characteristics reinforcement, (d) resin flow function temperature, (e) process cure cycle. stress concentrations lead to disproportionate decrease strength. Those who considering moving from autoclave out-of-autoclave (OOA) processes should be cautious potential effects this change.
