Residual Effects of Chemical Fertilizers, Organic Manure and Biofertilizers Applied to Preceding Gobhi sarson Crop on Summer Mung Bean (Vigna radiata L.)

Background: Inclusion of legume crops in multiple cropping systems has become crucial to increase the sustainability agroecosystems. Short duration mung bean can be easily fitted into many sequences which also turns farming highly remunerative along with strengthening sustainability. The current study was aimed evaluate residual effect nutrient management on performance summer a gobhi sarson - sequence. Methods: During period 2016-17 and 2017-18 different doses chemical fertilizers (NPK), combination FYM biofertilizers alone as well their were evaluated find out grown after crop. data growth parameters, yield attributes viz; plant height, dry matter accumulation, number branches per plant, pods seeds pod, 100- seed weight collected. biological from treatments evaluated. Result: All attributes, affected significantly fertilizers, combined application applied preceding sarson. Growth improved each incremental dose i.e. 0 50% RDF, 50 75% 75 100% RDF while + @ 10 t ha-1 being best treatment. treatment consortium showed maximum parameters followed by Azotobacter PSB, PSB alone, no inoculation treatments, respectively.
