چکیده
Deterministic channel models, such as the three-dimensional (3D) ray launching method, can yield wireless parameters. In non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation, outdoor 3D method that considers diffraction effects is more accurate than one does not. While considering effect, obtaining point challenging. This paper proposed a for determining diffracted rays using receiving sphere in launching. The determined shortest distance between two straight lines, and signal loss from transmitting to antennas obtained. Furthermore, experiments on millimeter wave microcell scenario were performed. test results of parameters compared with theoretical calculations. obtained via only specular reflection direct agree experimental line-of-sight (LOS); furthermore, they generate larger errors NLOS. ray, reflected rays, both LOS Therefore, effect improve prediction accuracy microcell.

Wideband Characterisation of the Dispersive Effects on IsolatedMature Trees for 2-GHz Band Urban Microcells
An important part of the modelling process applied to vegetation effects is aimed at analysing the radio propagation modes and the identification of individual signal contributions to the scattered signal caused by various elements of the tree. The paper describes detailed studies aimed at the wideband characterisation of propagation mechanisms arising in single trees. It explores effects of ge...
متن کاملSpatial Smoothing Effect on Kronecker Mimo Channel Model in Urban Microcells
In this paper, the effect of spatial smoothing on performance of widely used stochastic narrowband multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radio channel model, namely the Kronecker model, is investigated based on data measured in urban microcellular environment at 5.3 GHz carrier frequency. Results from non-line of sight (NLOS) and line of sight (LOS) traveling routes are analyzed. It is noticed ...
متن کاملPerformance analysis of cross- and cigar-shaped urban microcells considering user mobility characteristics
User mobility characteristics and cell shapes in urban microcellular environments are different from those in macrocellular environments because pedestrians walk along streets and radio signals are guided by tall buildings lining both sides of the streets. Urban area microcell shapes follow approximately the street pattern. In this paper, we characterize low-tier user mobility in typical urban ...

Usually the capacity of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless communication channels is evaluated under the assumption of fixed signal to noise (SNR) scenario. In this paper the impact of temporal SNR variation on capacity of MIMO wireless channels in urban microcells is considered. Results based on data measured in line of sight (LOS) and non line of sight (NLOS) propagation scenarios...
