Research on Intelligent Decision Method of Optimal Production Planning and AGV In-time Delivery in Mixed-Model Assembly Line

An automated guided vehicle (AGV) system is an indispensable part of a mixed-model assembly line (MMAL) for flexible and efficient production, which utilized the material delivery. With urgent needs industry digitalization market customization, along with trend corporate smart decision management, MMAL has been widely adopted in manufacturing process modularized products. To address parameter matching energy consumption optimization AGV MMAL, overall architecture intelligent (IMMAL) firstly proposed. And model this problem constructed. Then, research methodology proposed, comprehensively adopts dispatching rule, genetic algorithm, design experiment, BP neural network, simulated annealing. Eventually, real-life case used to validate practicality proposed solutions. The results show that optimal solutions production delivery at minimum are obtained successfully. Furthermore, three factors: quantity, capacity, velocity AGVs greatly impact system, where quantity most negligible significance, while capacity significance.
