Research on Comparison of Different Algorithms in Diagnosing Faults of Aircraft Engines

For the aircraft, engine is its core component. Once fails, flight safety will be seriously affected; therefore, it necessary to diagnose failure in time. This paper briefly introduced three aircraft fault diagnosis algorithms based on support vector machine (SVM), random forest, and particle swarm optimization-back-propagation (PSO-BP) carried out a simulation experiment performance of MATLAB software. The results showed that PSO-BP-based algorithm had highest recognition accuracy SVM-based lowest, both for artificial data real data. took least average time, longest
