Research of Distributed Photovoltaic Output Fluctuation Suppression Method Based on Improved FPA

Abstract Due to weather changes, the distributed photovoltaic (PV) output power has fluctuations, seriously affecting quality of distribution network. This paper proposes a PV fluctuation suppression method based on improved Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) solve above problem. uses an annihilation perturbation mechanism and linear weights update pollen position, which mainly affects plants. The time constant first-order low-pass filter is optimized, flower pollination algorithm utilized for optimization obtain optimal filter, suppressing integrating station’s output. simulations indicate that better than other evaluated algorithms improvement about 11% over particle swarm algorithm.
