Obstetrician–gynecologists and other women’s health care practitioners can support efforts to improve for incarcerated pregnant, postpartum, nonpregnant individuals. The majority of women are parents reproductive age, which has important implications their needs. legacies racism resulting racialized medical outcomes shape inequities in all people, including those who incarcerated. Reproductive individuals should be provided accordance with the same guidelines recommendations as not incarcerated, attention increased risk infectious diseases mental conditions common populations. Ensuring that receive respectful, consistent, high-quality health, pregnancy, postpartum is essential ameliorating affirming these individuals’ dignity. This revision provides comprehensive expands upon guidance advocate access safe, quality, dignified care.
