ABSTRACT The reproductive biology of thresher shark species the Ecuadorian Pacific was analysed based on 1236 specimens Alopias pelagicus (711 females and 525 males) 354 A. superciliosus (164 190 landed in “Playita Mía”, from January to December 2019. length ranged between 67.2 184 cm PCL (precaudal length) males 69.0 178.4 PCL, registered a minimum maximum size 76.0 202.2 for 94.0 204.8 males. most frequently captured class 147.2?157.2 156.0-166.0 PCL. sex ratio (F:M) 1.35F:1M 0.86F:1M respectively.
