Representation and content in student's exam note sheets

Various forms of representation are used to understand physics concepts. This study aims reveal the representations by students in summarizing their teaching materials. The observed include mathematical equations, verbal statements and graphs. participants were who attended lectures two academic years, namely 2016 2018. Students permitted freely write a summary lecture material that would be as resources during exam. research investigated types percentages. In addition, content was also taken into consideration. results showed equations or formulas, explanations graphs 100%, 97% 40% total students, respectively. finding is reflected percentage paper area summary; uses formulas 60%, 32.5% remaining 4.2% Most note sheets contain almost all material. students’ tendency should considered for strategy.
