چکیده
In Huybrighs et al. (2020, https://doi.org/10.1029/2020gl087806) we investigated energetic proton depletions along Galileo's Europa flyby E26. Based on a particle tracing analysis, proposed that are caused by perturbed electromagnetic fields combined with atmospheric charge exchange and possible plumes. One depletion feature identified as plume signature was shown to be an artifact (Jia al., 2021, https://doi.org/10.1029/2020gl091550). Despite that, here emphasize demonstrates plumes can cause these features should sought after. Furthermore, the conclusions importance of unaffected. We suggest artifact's is mistagging protons heavier ions EPD. The prevents us from confirming or excluding there plume-associated depletion. also address comments MHD simulations demonstrate 540–1,040 keV losses not necessarily inconsistent 115–244 exchange.

متن کاملHydrothermal Plume Dynamics on Europa: Implications for Chaos Formation
Hydrothermal plumes may be responsible for transmitting tidally-generated heat from Europa’s rocky interior through a liquid ocean to the base of its ice shell. This process has been implicated in the formation of chaos regions and lenticulae by melting or exciting convection in the ice layer. In contrast to earlier work, we argue that Europa’s ocean should be treated as an unstratified fluid. ...

Any reader of the paper by Laloux et al. [1] would have been left utterly confused after consulting the time series for the price of Japanese Government Bonds (JGB) around May 1995 looking for a log-periodic power law acceleration in the data. The authors of [1] now confess their error and admit that the prediction date given in [1] was incorrect and that the correct prediction was for August 1...

In our paper " Can disorder induce a finite thermal conductivity in 1D lattices? " (Phys. we have pointed out two important things. First, the disorder can induce a finite thermal conductivity in lower temperature regime. Second, our numerical calculations with Noo´se-Hoover thermostats shown that a unique nonequilibrium stationary state may not exist in a disorder harmonic chain. In his commen...
