چکیده
As the main mechanical transmission parts, gears are usually exposed to wear, corrosion, and fatigue; their failure in a poor working environment may cause huge economic loss waste of resources. Laser cladding (LC) has been proven quickly repair parts at good metallurgical bonding performance flexible scanning strategies wide material selection. Therefore, LC technology can be considered an ideal approach repairing damaged gear. However, teeth by not systematically reported. In this paper, series progressive works have carried out investigate process broken LC. Firstly, parameters, overlapping ratio, Z-increment for Ni60 powder on 20CrMnTi were optimized. Secondly, effects deposition morphologies single-layer multi-layer multi-tracks carefully analyzed. Then, gear was successfully realized based obtained optimized parameters. Finally, phase composition, microstructure, hardness, wear properties repaired tooth analyzed XRD, SEM, microhardness tester, friction tester. The results show that remanufactured recover its appearance before breakage. zone is mainly composed γ-Ni, Cr7C3, Cr23C6, CrB phases. micro-hardness volume 60.63 ± 1.23HRC 1674.983 μm2, which consistent with those other teeth. This study expected expand application provide guidance engineers parts.

Laser Powder Cladding of Ti-6Al-4V α/β Alloy
Laser cladding process was performed on a commercial Ti-6Al-4V (α + β) titanium alloy by means of tungsten carbide-nickel based alloy powder blend. Nd:YAG laser with a 2.2-KW continuous wave was used with coaxial jet nozzle coupled with a standard powder feeding system. Four-track deposition of a blended powder consisting of 60 wt % tungsten carbide (WC) and 40 wt % NiCrBSi was successfully mad...
متن کاملLaser-powder-material interactions in the laser cladding process
In this paper we present briefly two possible approaches for modelling the laser cladding process. The first approach is 2D and consists in finding the shape of the molten pool given the fraction of the laser power which is available at the surface of the workpiece and given the amount of powder sticking to the molten pool. The powder reaching the workpiece is assumed to melt instantaneously at...

In this study, the effect of overlapping percentage on microstructure and mechanical properties of a single-pass coating by Inconel 625 powder laser has been investigated for quench-tempered ASTM A592 steel. In order to have a structural analysis, the inter dendritic distance was evaluated. For this purpose, scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Digimizer software were adopted. In order to i...
