چکیده
This approach focuses on the renewable energy-carbon emission nexus by delivering new empirical evidence from 37 members of Union for Mediterranean. The makes use panel data period 2002–2018 and uses econometrical approaches, which are random effects regression, feasible generalized least squares difference-generalized method moments estimation, to understand how agricultural activity, economic growth, energy impact carbon emissions. results indicate that growth increases emissions, whereas decreases them. In addition, separate analyses EU non-EU activity has a significant negative effect only countries, is further discussed with some relevant evidence. utilizes three fields policy action. Firstly, comes countries cost-carbon Policymaking needs include strategies turn into sustainable growth. Secondly, magnitude emissions greater than energy. Research development efforts need improve this situation. Thirdly, appropriate tools technologies can decrease footprint activity.

This paper provides an empirical analysis of CO2 emissions and economic growth, based on a panel dataset covering 93 countries over the period 1960-2008, and examines the challenge of country selection for homogenous and appropriates groups. Foremost, we have proposed a no parametric hierarchic clustering approach, based on 17 criteria and used the Hierarchical Clustering on Principal Component...
متن کاملShould Indians Pay more for Renewable Energy Based Electricity? - The Need for Evidence Based Consumer Tariffs for Electricity in India
India seeks to achieve 175 Giga-Watt (GW) of Renewable power by 2022. As of December 2017, out of 333 GW of total installed capacity of electricity, close to 62GW come from renewable sources. Meeting the set targets calls for augmentation of renewable energy based capacities as expeditiously as possible. However, the sick financial health of the distribution companies/utilities, who act a...
متن کاملEnergy, Emissions and the Economy: Empirical analysis from Pakistan
The aim of this paper is to investigate the long run relationships among the Energy, Environment and the Economy (E-E-E). This paper also tests the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) for the case of Pakistan. We find robust long run relationships between energy, environment and economic growth. It is also found that the capital and labor elasticities of income show decreasing returns in the pres...
