چکیده
This study examines the short- and long-run of causal correlation between economic growth (G.R.) renewable electricity generation sources for a panel 25 developing nations over period 1990–2017. To do so, second-generation cross-sectional dependence (C.D.) test Im, K.S., Pesaran Augmented Dickey-Fuller unit root test, cointegration, autoregressive distributed lag in view pooled mean group estimation heterogeneous Dumitrescu Hurlin (2012) causality methods are utilised. The main findings indicate that positive significant impact on G.R. shows stimulate long run these selected countries. It is also demonstrated there bidirectional both short run. Based our findings, feedback hypothesis valid

Economic Growth in 24 African Countries: a Panel ARDL Approach
This study complements existing literature by examining the nexus between energy consumption (EC), CO2 emissions (CE) and economic growth (GDP) in 24 African countries using a panel ARDL approach. The following findings are established. First, there is a long run relationship between EC, CE and GDP. Second, a long term effect from CE to GDP and EC is apparent, with reciprocal paths. Third, the ...
متن کاملThe Relationship between Electricity Consumption and Economic Growth in the Selected Member Countries of the International Energy Agency (IEA): An ARDL Bounds Test Approach
In this study, the causality links between electricity consumption and economic growth are investigated for Turkey, the United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium and United States covering the period from 1964 to 2014. The results of autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach, bounds testing and error correction model show that there is a positive one-way and statistically significant causality moving...
متن کاملInflation and Economic Growth Nexus in Brics: Evidence from Ardl Bound Testing Approach
The present study investigated the inflation growth nexus in the context of BRICS countries. The study used time series data covering from the period 1980 to 2012. The data sources are cumulated from the World Bank, World Economic Outlook (WEO). The empirical findings of the study indicate that a long run positive relationship between inflation and economic growth only for China and South Afric...
متن کاملThe nexus of electricity consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions in the BRICS countries
This study reexamines the causal link between electricity consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions in the BRICS countries (i.e., Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) for the period 1990– 2010, using panel causality analysis, accounting for dependency and heterogeneity across countries. Regarding the electricity–GDP nexus, the empirical results support evidence on the feedback h...
متن کاملExamining the renewable energy consumption-economic growth nexus in sub-Saharan African countries
Given the role renewable energy is likely to play in the context of sustainable development, it is important to understand the relationship between renewable energy and economic growth. Therefore, this paper examines the relationship between renewable energy consumption and economic growth in a panel of sub-Saharan Africa countries from 1990-2011. Using a production function framework, the depe...
