چکیده

Alginate blended with cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), nanofibers (CNF), and tri-carboxylate (TPC-CNF) prepared encapsulated in the form of microcapsules (bio-polymeric beads). The cellulosic nanomaterials that used this study were investigated as for wastewater treatment applications. Batch experiments performed to removal copper, lead, magnesium, iron from aqueous solutions by beads. effects sorbent dosage modified polymers on removing efficiency metal cations examined. Atomic absorption was measure ions concentrations. bio-polymeric beads (Alg-CNF, Alg-CNC, Alg-TPC-CNF) exhibited high-efficiency towards cations; Cu2+, Pb2+, Mg2+, Fe2+. Alg-TPC-CNF composite excellent which around 95% Pb, 92% Cu, 43% Fe 54% Mg. These outcomes affirm utilization giving higher adsorption capacities contrasted similar material its micro or macrostructure form.

Removal of Lead (ii) from Aqueous Solutions by Adsorption onto Chitosan Beads

The adsorption of Pb (II) ions onto chitosan beads and cross-linked chitosan beads has been investigated. The epichlorohydrin (ECH) was used as a cross-linking agent. Experiments were carried out as a function of pH, stirring time, adsorbent dosage and concentration of Pb (II) ions. The experimental data of the adsorption equilibrium from Pb (II) solution correlated well with the Langmuir isoth...

Enhanced bio-recalcitrant organics removal by combined adsorption and ozonation.

Removal of bio-recalcitrant and toxic compounds from wastewaters has been a major objective of industrial manufacturers for a few years. Due to the potential risk toward public health, regulations are becoming increasingly strict and classical treatments like biological treatments are not efficient. Other techniques such as incineration, oxidation or adsorption provide higher levels of removal ...

Use of Rice Hull as a Biomass Sorbent for Organic Pollutant Removal: Adsorption Isotherms and Thermodynamic

The present study describes the adsorption of textile dye on rice hull. The adsorption parameters were obtained from Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms utilizing linear regression plots to fit the data. The results showed that Langmuir equation was more suitable than the Freundlich one to predict the experimental adsorption isotherms, indicating that the adsorption of dye molecules is localized ...
