چکیده
In the present study, oxytetracycline (OTC) was selected as a medical contaminant with an organic structure to increase efficiency and feasibility of comparison other research studies. Therefore, removal OTC from medicinal effluents using different methods; namely, activated carbon, bentonite adsorption, iron(III) chloride coagulation, membrane filtration reverse osmosis (RO), investigated. Results indicated that soluble antibiotics in factory wastewater by adsorption method between 35% 77%, at pH 6.5 total dissolved solids (TDS) concentration were reduced 55% respectively. coagulation method, where suitable ranges 5.5 7.5, optimal dosage iron (III) 40 100 mg/l, which resulted 98.7% removal. It concluded highest RO TDS obtained pressure 9 bars. All experiments on these membranes performed within 4 months still well. it is long-term operation has little effect performance this for OTC. Finally, defined removal, after passing once through membrane, while methods are proper be used pre-treatment wastewater. KEYWORDS: Antibiotics, Absorption, Coagulation, Membrane filtration, Reverse osmosis.

on the comparison of keyword and semantic-context methods of learning new vocabulary meaning
the rationale behind the present study is that particular learning strategies produce more effective results when applied together. the present study tried to investigate the efficiency of the semantic-context strategy alone with a technique called, keyword method. to clarify the point, the current study seeked to find answer to the following question: are the keyword and semantic-context metho...

Investigating the Effect of Coagulation and Flocculation - Adsorption Process on Boron Removal from Industrial Wastewater (Case Study: Ceramic Tile Industry)
Background and Objectives: Boron is widely found in raw materials and wastewater of the tile industry and its removal from aquatic environments is very complex. The aim of this study was to remove boron from wastewater of ceramic tile industry using coagulation and flocculation-adsorption process. Materials and Methods: This was an experimental study. Initially, for the coagulation process, pH...
متن کاملcomparison of adsorption process by gac with novel formulation of coagulation-flocculation for color removal of textile wastewater
this study evaluates the effectiveness of adsorption process by granular activated carbon (gac) compared with a novel formulation of coagulation - flocculation process for dye removal from textile wastewater. in this regard, acidic, reactive, disperse and direct red dye are used to prepare the synthetic dye. dominant wave length for each dye is determined by spectrophotometeric method. using ga...
متن کاملRemoval of residual phenols from coke wastewater by adsorption.
After biological treatment, coke wastewater contains small amounts of phenolic compounds resistant to such treatment. The removal of phenols and COD from coke wastewater subjected to biological treatment was studied. The adsorbents used were granular activated carbon and the resins XAD-2, AP-246 and OC-1074. Equilibrium, kinetics and column assays were carried out, fitting the equilibrium data ...
