چکیده
The mineral exploration has improved in the last decades, today there are different methods of remote exploration, that applied mining industry worldwide, helping to discover ore minerals deposits zones have not access them. study area this article is located about 400 km from Khartoum, characterized by low reliefs covered sand and gravely sand. wants carry out geological mapping prospective using sensing GIS techniques. Sudan formations over inaccessible areas, way technique a great value these conditions, saving time money. used methodology been divided into three phases: Pre-field office work, field work post-field work. processing satellite images includes color band composites, order obtain lithological features, types rocks were defined color. Obtaining following rock types: High-grade gneisses migmatites described comprise basement complex, ophiolitic mafic-ultramafic appear northern southern sides area, metasediments cover most syn-orogenic intrusions cut older units metavolcanosedimentary sequences, post-orogenic gold mineralization. Based on image analysis results Landsat 8 OLI, 32 samples collected pathfinder elements obtaining high anomalies for Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, Pb Fe.

Integration of Satellite Remote Sensing Data for Gold Prospecting in Tropical Regions
The area under investigation is the Bau gold mining district in the State of Sarawak, East Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. It has tropical climate with limited bedrock exposures and the other constraints imposed in the environment. Bau is a gold field with Carlin style gold deposits. Geological analyses coupled with remote sensing data were used to detect structure elements and hydrothermall...
متن کاملExploration of Kahang porphyry copper deposit using advanced integration of geological, remote sensing, geochemical, and magnetics data
The purpose of mineral exploration is to find ore deposits. The main aim of this work is to use the fuzzy inference system to integrate the exploration layers including the geological, remote sensing, geochemical, and magnetic data. The studied area was the porphyry copper deposit of the Kahang area in the preliminary stage of exploration. Overlaying of rock units and tectonic layers were used ...
متن کاملUsing ASTER remote sensing data set for geological mapping, in Namibia
The present study deals with the estimation of the advanced spaceborne thermal emission and reflection radiometer (ASTER) data for geological application. Visible, near-infrared and short wave infrared reflectance data (9 ASTER bands) have been processed and interpreted in framework of a mapping project concerning the western margin of the Kalahari desert. A methodology has been applied to appa...
متن کاملApplication of remote sensing data in measuring the area of the Zardkuh glaciers
Glaciers influenced by climatic factors and therefore as an important indicator in the study of climate change are studied. Although morphometric analyzes of glaciers based on the analysis of optical satellite data can provide an opportunity to measure ice outcrops, but the identification and determination of the buried glaciers underneath the glacial debris and, consequently, the determination...
متن کاملMapping Spatial Variability of Soil Salinity Using Remote Sensing Data and Geostatistical Analysis: A Case of Shadegan, Khuzestan
Extended abstract 1- Introduction Soil salinity is one of the most important desertification parameters in many parts of the world. Thus, preparing soil salinity maps in macro scales is necessary. Water and soil salinity as one of the contributing parameters in desertification, cause soil and vegetation degradation. Soil salinization represents many negative effects on the earth systems such ...
