Editors’ Note: The following speech, shared by Colonel Moar’s grandson, offers reflections from a Canadian WWII Veteran the North Shore Regiment, who thoughtfully illustrated complexities of armed conflict, humanity that exists amid extreme contexts, and lasting impacts moral dilemmas arise, especially in relation to children. Moar remained steadfast his service for peaceful world was greatly respected how he championed care fellow Veterans.
