RELIGIOUS POETRY IN THE POETICS TEACHING MANUAL FONS CASTALIUS [CASTALIAN SOURCE] (1685)

چکیده

The article analyzes nineteen religious verses in Kiev poetics teaching manual Fons Castalius [Castalian source] (1685). It is chronologically the first textbook of poetry, which exactly belongs to Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and whose year creating not doubt. Since modern scientific description Ukrainian manuals exist, short manuscript was made article. consists two roughly equal parts. one describes general rhetorical information – on periods, amplification, epistles chria. poems are second part manual, that deals with proper, illustrate all small poetic forms. spiritual constitute about a fifth examples. From 16 written Latin only three Polish, mostly moral didactic. following thematic groups established: God, Jesus Christ (5 verses); saints incl. Virgin Mary (6); characters Bible, sacraments attributes (5); didactic (3). anonymous author (1685) has presented audience his lectures poetry variety topics. Among works well-known poets authors, popular texts appearing for time. We find some them later manuscripts Jesuit College Western Ukraine Kiev-Mohyla Academy.
