RELIABILITY OF HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE FOR FEMALES INVOLVED IN INDIVIDUAL SPORTS

Sports have a great influence on person’s daily life including health and well-being. By giving oneself up to regular physical activities, one can improve heart function, reduces the risks of diabetes, controls blood sugar lowers tension stress level. The objective present study was determine reliability (test-retest) Health Questionnaire (HQ) for college going females involved in individual sports/games. A questionnaire developed, consisting 42 items which were sent out experts suggestion who rated each question ten-point scale ascertain face validity HQ. trial run performed modified accordingly. keeping view input provided by experts. group (n=35) between age ranging from 17 20 years sports/games randomly selected. Thereafter developed HQ administered selected sample twice at interval two days. statistical analysis used mean, standard deviation Pearson product-moment correlation ‘r’ trials. range administration .40 .76 is considered an “acceptable” measure reliability. In conclusion item/variable items/variables had acceptable regard sports.
