چکیده
Multi-energy microgrids could result in more flexibility and increase reliability by interconnecting networks. Electricity gas networks exhibit very different dynamic behaviours response to a fault or failure. Gas have built-in energy storages that can continue provide reliable supply if inputs the system are compromised. This study presents novel assessment method applied multi-energy microgrids; combines an incidence matrix analysis identifies connectivity between sources load points with sequential Monte Carlo simulation generation adequacy evaluation. A case is conducted using electricity-gas microgrid. The electricity network multi-sourced grid, whereas supplied biogas plant. linepack (gas stored along pipelines) modelled account for slower dynamics. proposed evaluated on real-world distribution Austria. results indicate benefits of forming

Reliability Assessment of Distribution Systems in Presence of Microgrids Considering Uncertainty in Generation and Load Demand
The microgrid concept provides attractive solutions for reliability enhancement of power distribution systems. Normally, microgrids contain renewable-energy-based Distributed Generation (DG) units, which their output power varies with different environmental conditions. In addition, load demand usually changes with factors such as hourly and seasonal customer activities. Hence, these issues hav...
متن کاملMicrogrids and Heterogeneous Power Quality and Reliability
This paper describes two stylized alternative visions of how the power system might evolve to meet future requirements for the high quality electricity service that modern digital economies demand, a supergrids paradigm and a dispersed paradigm. Some of the economics of the dispersed vision are explored, and perspectives are presented on both the choice of homogeneous universal power quality up...

متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Microgrids Reliability Evaluation with Renewable Distributed Generation and Storage Systems
This paper presents a model for reliability evaluation of Microgrids with Distributed Generation based on renewable energy resources. In this approach, DG participates in the network operation coordination as an active agent and not as a decentralized generation under which the utility has no control. Stochastic models are considered for representing generation availability related to wind ener...
