Release Behaviour of Phosphorus and Its Fractions in Different Phosphorus Status Soils

Phosphorus is essential to all forms of life and its contribution towards aiding the native soil fertility sustaining it, well known. With passage time, P added undergoes transformation into various unavailable forms. Native compounds, some being highly insoluble are mostly for plant uptake. The availability phosphorus plants depends on properties, pH, soluble iron, aluminum manganese, calcium minerals, organic matter, activities microorganisms thus may vary according types. Knowing changes in fractions especially low high status soils much more important plant. Therefore, release behaviour fraction different was assessed over 5 weeks under laboratory incubation periods using a sequential fractionation procedure. results experiment revealed that content available were higher as compared soil. Among fractions, Ca-P dominant both soils. first increased up 21 28 days soil, respectively after then decreased with further increase period.
