Relativistic Effects in the Rotation of Dwarf Planets and Asteroids

Abstract The effect of the geodetic rotation (which includes two relativistic effects: precession and nutation) is most significant in celestial bodies. For first time this research, determined dwarf planets (Ceres, Pluto, Charon) asteroids (Pallas, Vesta, Lutetia, Europa, Ida, Eros, Davida, Gaspra, Steins, Itokawa) Solar System with known values their parameters. Calculations are made by a method for studying any bodies long-term ephemeris. Values nutation all these were calculated ecliptic Euler angles relative to proper coordinate systems rotational elements fixed equator Earth vernal equinox (at epoch J2000.0). obtained analytical can be used numerically investigate approximation, also estimate influence effects on orbital–rotational dynamics exoplanetary systems.
