Relationships between physical capacities and biomechanical variables during movement tasks in athletic populations following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

چکیده
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction has a detrimental impact on athletic performance. Despite rehabilitation guidelines and criterion-based progressions to ensure safe restoration of fundamental physical capacities maladaptive movement strategies, residual deficits in maximal strength, rate force development (RFD), power reactive strength are commonly reported. These combined with associated compensatory inter intra-limb strategies increase the risk re-injury. The aim this article is examine relationships between biomechanical variables during dynamic tasks. Narrative review. available data suggests that quadriceps torque development, explain moderate portion variance aberrant kinetic kinematic detected ACL reconstructed cohorts later stages RTS

Dear Editor,We have greatly enjoyed reading the case report entitled “‘Femoral Condyle Fracture during Revision of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: Case Report and a Review of Literature in the issue of Arch Bone Jt Surg. 2015;3(2) with great interest. We would like to commend the authors for their detailed and valuable work. Although various case reports have described postoperative ...
متن کاملFailure of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
The present review classifies and describes the multifactorial causes of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery failure, concentrating on preventing and resolving such situations. The article particularly focuses on those causes that require ACL revision due to recurrent instability, without neglecting those that affect function or produce persistent pain. Although primary ACL reconstructio...
متن کاملKnee Loading Deficits During Dynamic Tasks in Individuals Following Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction.
Study Design Controlled laboratory study, cross-sectional. Background Well-documented deficits in sagittal plane knee loading during dynamic tasks indicate that individuals limit the magnitude of knee loading following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). It is unknown how these individuals modulate the speed of knee flexion during loading, which is particularly important as they p...
متن کاملInfections following arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
PURPOSE Infection after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is a serious but uncommon complication. Optimal management has not been established. The purpose of our case series was to review our experience and published reports to identify risk factors, evaluate physical and laboratory findings, compare different treatments, and assess clinical outcomes. METHODS Retrospective revie...
