چکیده
Introduction . The role and mechanism of the effect vitamin D on course chronic lung diseases in children are not yet fully understood. In particular, there enough studies status production interferon-γ (IFN-γ) with cystic fibrosis bronchial asthma. Aim To analyse changes IFN-γ levels asthma according to serum 25(OH)D level before during cholecalciferol supplementation. Materials methods A total 114 (aged from 3 months 18 years old) were examined, including 51 (44.7%) asthma, 34 (29.8%) fibrosis, 29 (25.5%) control group. If hypovitaminosis was diagnosed, received a three-month at doses accordance recommendations national consensus - Cystic Fibrosis: Definition, Diagnostic Criteria, Therapy program Vitamin Deficiency Children Adolescents Russian Federation: Current Approaches Management. twice determined all children. Results Median patients did reach healthy either or after supplementation drugs recommended doses. intake resulted decrease 3.07 [2.29; 4.81] pg/ml 2.18 [1.74; 3.45] (p < 0.05), whereas such detected paediatric general population. However, cholecalciferol, significantly higher 2.86 [2.13; 3.86] 3.11 [0.89; 5.0] pg/ml, respectively, than 0.05). statistically significant observed girls no groups boys. Conclusion Modulation appears be one mechanisms immunotropic inflammation infectious (cystic fibrosis) allergic (bronchial asthma) etiology

Relationship between serum parathyroid hormone levels, vitamin D sufficiency, and calcium intake.
CONTEXT Adequate vitamin D status for optimum bone health has received increased recognition in recent years; however, the ideal intake is not known. Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D is the generally accepted indicator of vitamin D status, but no universal reference level has been reached. OBJECTIVE To investigate the relative importance of high calcium intake and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D for calci...

The vitamin D is an essential factor for skeletal development, and its deficiency can cause growth retardation and skeletal deformities such as rickets [1,2]. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) sourced from diet and ultraviolet B sunlight is metabolized to 25(OH) vitamin D (25(OH)D, calcidiol) in the liver, and then in the kidney to 1,25(OH)2 vitamin D (1,25(OH)2D, calcitriol) which is the biological...
