Relationship between pulmonary function and anthropometric measurements and body composition in young women

Purpose: This study was planned to evaluate the relationship between pulmonary function and some anthropometric measurements body composition in healthy young women with different mass index (BMI). 
 Materials Methods: One hundred seventeen (n:117) women, aged 19-30 years, participated this study. Some of participants (body weight, height, waist circumference, hip neck circumference) were evaluated by researchers. Results: There no difference forced vital capacity (FVC), expiratory volume 1 second (FEV1) FEV1/FVC values individuals according BMI classification. In terms disease risk measurements, found groups test (except for circumference). Participants whose circumference 80-88 cm have a significantly higher value than >88 cm. It determined that there positive correlation lean mass, fat total water values, FVC, FEV1 values. Conclusion: Differences assessment may be due methodological group-specific changes studies. Long-term studies question individuals, food consumption physical activity levels, will beneficial.
