Relationship between Organizational Cynicism and Nurses’ Intension for Turnover as Perceived by Nurses

Background: Organizational cynicism is unfavourable standpoint that reported to have an impact on nurses’ intention for turnover. Purpose: The aim of this study was to to investigate the relationship between organizational and nurse’s intension turnover as perceived by nurses in two governmental health care hospitals at Alexandria governorate. Method: A descriptive correlational design utilized with convenient sample (n= 534), tools were used measure variables: Tool I: cynicism questionnaire. II: Turnover Questionnaire. Results: There statistically significant positive correlation for turnover. moderate highest mean percent score as the studied related cognitive cynicism. Conclusion: studied perceived moderate level well was statistically significant nurses’ intention Recommendations: Continuous periodic training programs should be given different units, increase their awareness about organizational cynicism, conflict management, effective communication emotional intelligence, and stress management coping stressful situations
