Relationship between Empowering Leadership and Teachers’ Job Performance: Organizational Commitment as Mediator

This study investigates the mediating role of organizational commitment on relationship between principals' empowering leadership and teachers’ job performance. To this end, it employed a cross-sectional design, one quantitative methods. Data were collected through "Empowering Leadership Behaviors Scale", "Organizational Commitment Scale" "Job Performance Scale". The sample consisted 324 teachers working in different cities Turkey. They convenience sampling responded to scales online. Predictive relationships variables revealed using structural equation model. Since data did not satisfy multivariate normal distribution assumption, bootsrapping was used. findings indicated that is positively associated with performance commitment. On other hand, boosts Lastly, school enhances which turn discussed based literature some suggestions made findings.
