Relationship between CD4 levels and mucocutaneous manifestations in HIV-AIDS patients at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Teaching Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia

Background: CD4 can assess the immune status of a patient with HIV, and this is considered standard way assessing characterizing severity HIV-related immunodeficiency. cell counts are associated increased mucocutaneous manifestations. This study aims to explain relationship between manifestations in HIV-AIDS patients.
 Methods: analytical retrospective cross-sectional design. The data present was obtained from number 614 patients manifestations, but only 149 met inclusion criteria, including level data.
 Results: majority were male (74.5%), which includes under age group 25-49 years (70.5%). most common risk factor heterosexuality (48.3%). Most levels < 200 (64.4%). Based on distribution various cases reported as infections (55.8%). Pyoderma syphilis significantly ≥ cells/mm3 3.7 7.8 times than cells / mm3. On other hand, candidiasis higher count significant difference 0.3 compared cells/mm3.
 Conclusion: Several be predictors advanced immunosuppression (low level), pyoderma, syphilis, study.
