Objective Breastfeeding plays a key role in the development of baby, addition to benefits mother and this dyad. Among possible difficulties process, we have ankyloglossia. Some professionals opt for frenotomy, although literature is controversial. This paper aims present how provides subsidies health professionals' decision action intersection themes: breastfeeding, ankyloglossia, frenotomy. Materials methods The research on platforms SciELO PubMed used terms: lingual frenulum same ones associated with breastfeeding.
