RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANOREXIA NERVOSA (DESIRE FOR THINNESS) AND MENTAL HEALTH AMONG JUNIOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Anorexia nervosa, a type of eating disorder is commonly seen in teenagers. An intense fear gaining weight and distorted body image compels the teenagers to go on diet, which resulting less skipping meal ultimately making more prone stress,anxiety,depression other mental health issues. The study was taken with an intention find association anorexia health. A sample 913 adolescents from junior college were selected as standardized test administered. findings showed that there positive correlation between among adolescents.
