RELATIONSHIP AMONG READING INTEREST, GRAMMAR KNOWLEDGE, AND READING COMPREHENSION OF NARRATIVE TEXT

Reading is a gate for grasping any insight of knowledge and science. The objective the research was accepted to report relationship among reading interest, grammar knowledge, comprehension narrative text. It conducted tenth-grade students State Islamic senior high school in Senior High School 3 Pandeglang. methodology applied quantitative used simple random sampling technique. Three instruments were obtain data such as questionnaire, test test. results study found that (1) there positive between interest text with correlation value 0.933, (2) 0.433, (3) simultaneous 0.884. Therefore, it can be concluded contributed by students’ knowledge.
