RELATION TIMELINESS COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF INFANTS AGED 6-12 MONTH

Background: Infants aged six months and over have increased nutritional needs so that breast milk is no longer fulfilled because it necessary to provide complementary foods for (MP-ASI) reduce prevent malnutrition. The provision of MP-ASI has a relationship with status. This study aims know about the between timeliness status infants 6-12 in working area the Margorejo Health Center. Methods: research design used an observational cross sectional. population this were all mothers who had babies Sampling technique using total sampling sample size was 64 respondents. Data collected questionnaire. variables timeliness, frequency, quantity, diversity species suitability texture. analysis contingency coefficient test determine correlation independent variable dependent variable. Results: Timeliness shown by 53,13% respondents while 46,87% them not on time foods. results showed feeding p value=0,64. Conclusion: shows there infants.
