Regulation of TREM1-Mediated Inflammation in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells

چکیده
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), accounting for more than 90% of cases primary liver cancer, is the third most common cause cancer-related death worldwide. Chronic inflammation precedes development cirrhosis and HCC. TREM (triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cell)-1 an inflammatory marker amplifier that signals through PI3K ERK1/2 to activate transcription factors, resulting in increased secretion pro-inflammatory cytokines, causing chronic predisposing carcinogenesis. Thus, targeting TREM-1 HCC might be a potential therapeutic target. A low level vitamin D has been associated with poor prognosis we evaluated effect expression cell line. Additionally, effects high mobility group box-1, lipopolysaccharide, factor PU.1 normal cells have investigated presence absence D. The results showed IL-6, TNF-α, LPS, rHMGB-1 decreased calcitriol. Calcitriol also attenuated TREM-1. treatment proliferation, migration, invasion cells. These (in vitro) provide molecular biochemical evidence calcitriol significantly attenuates mediators inflammation, thus used therapeutically together conventional delay progression negative regulation by suggests as

Nanocurcumin-Mediated Down-Regulation of Telomerase Via Stimulating TGFβ1 Signaling Pathway in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells
Background: Curcumin, extracted from turmeric, represents enormous potential to serve as an anticancer agent. Telomerase is viewed as a prominent molecular target of curcumin, and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1) has proven to be a major inhibitory signaling pathway for telomerase activity. In the current study, we aimed to explore suppressive effects of nanocurcumin on telomeras...
متن کاملInflammation Mediated by JNK in Myeloid Cells Promotes the Development of Hepatitis and Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
The cJun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling pathway is required for the development of hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma. A role for JNK in liver parenchymal cells has been proposed, but more recent studies have implicated non-parenchymal liver cells as the relevant site of JNK signaling. Here, we tested the hypothesis that myeloid cells mediate this function of JNK. We show that mice wit...
متن کاملHepatocellular carcinoma in a sheep
At necropsy of a five-year-old sheep, a pear shaped, lobular yellow-brownish mass measuring about 12 ×15 × 20 cm was found to involve the right hepatic lobe. Microscopic examination revealed two trabecularand solid patterns of neoplastic hepatocytes. In solid pattern, there were numerous tumoral giant cells thatcontain one or more large hyperchromatic bizarre-shaped nuclei scattered among clust...
متن کاملDownregulation of Kinesin Spindle Protein Inhibits Proliferation, Induces Apoptosis and Increases Chemosensitivity in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells
Background: Kinesin spindle protein (KSP) plays a critical role in mitosis. Inhibition of KSP function leads to cell cycle arrest at mitosis and ultimately to cell death. The aim of this study was to suppress KSP expression by specific small-interfering RNA (siRNA) in Hep3B cells and evaluate its anti-tumor activity. Methods: Three siRNA targeting KSP (KSP-siRNA #1-3) and one mismatched-siRNA (...
