چکیده
In this work we study linear Maxwell equations with time- and space-dependent matrix-valued permittivity permeability on domains a perfectly conducting boundary. This leads to an initial boundary value problem for first-order hyperbolic system characteristic We prove priori estimates solutions in H m . Moreover, show the existence of unique -solution if coefficients data are sufficiently regular satisfy certain compatibility conditions. Since is system, have exploit divergence conditions order derive energy-type -estimates. A combination these several regularization techniques then yields

Kinetic equations with Maxwell boundary conditions
We prove global stability results of DiPerna-Lions renormalized solutions for the initial boundary value problem associated to some kinetic equations, from which existence results classically follow. The (possibly nonlinear) boundary conditions are completely or partially diffuse, which includes the so-called Maxwell boundary conditions, and we prove that it is realized (it is not only a bounda...
متن کاملTowards Perfectly Absorbing Boundary Conditions for Euler Equations
In this paper, we examine the effectiveness of absorbing layers as non-reflecting computational boundaries for the Euler equations. The absorbing-layer equations are simply obtained by splitting the governing equations in the coordinate directions and introducing absorption coefficients in each split equation. This methodology is similar to that used by Berenger for the numerical solutions of M...

which is solved in implicit plasma simulations. Compared with the standard Helmholtz equation [4, p68], (c∆t/2) replaces −(c/ω), and Eq. 1 is solved each time step (instead of for each value of ω) for E with S given. The source term, S, is neither divergence nor curl-free in general. Specifically, we ask under what conditions charge conservation is satisfied. Namely, do numerical solutions of E...
متن کاملGevrey Regularity for Navier–stokes Equations under Lions Boundary Conditions
The Navier–Stokes system is considered in a compact Riemannian manifold. Gevrey class regularity is proven under Lions boundary conditions in the cases of the 2D Rectangle, Cylinder, and Hemisphere. The cases of the 2D Sphere and 2D and 3D Torus are also revisited. MSC2010: 35Q30, 76D03
