Regional issue, innovation, and the ecological footprint

چکیده
This paper models the relationship between economic development and environmental progress. It investigates investment in innovation uncontained emissions selected Russian regions from 2013 to 2018. The database contains information for 72 locations is comprised of 432 observations (panel data, multiplied by 6 years). Random-effects regression have been applied analyze panel data. In a study over period 2013-2018, this research demonstrates that growing (R&D) intensity regional firms leads larger ecological footprint emission intensity. These effects are negatively moderated per capita income region?s residents enrollment higher education. positively export firms. results suggest aspects sustainable at odds with each other indicate policymakers should account negative externalities when devising policies aiming facilitate growth.
