Reference Governor-based fault-tolerant constrained control

This paper presents a fault-tolerant control scheme for constrained linear systems. First, new variant of the Reference Governor (RG) called At Once (AORG) is introduced. The AORG distinguished from conventional RG by computing Auxiliary (AR) sequence so that to optimize performance over prescribed time interval instead only at current instant; this enables integration with fault detection schemes. In particular, it shown that, when combined Multi-Model Adaptive Estimator (MMAE), AR can be determined such tracking properties are guaranteed and constraints satisfied all times, while optimized, i.e., faults detected high probability correctness. addition reconfiguration presented ensures system viability despite presence based on recoverable sets. Simulations Boeing 747-100 aircraft model carried out evaluate effectiveness in enforcing desired roll side-slip angles. maintaining airplane damaged vertical stabilizer also demonstrated.
