Abstract Solar photovoltaic technology faces many challenges in climates that are characterized by arid nature with high dust frequencies and relative humidity levels, which make build-up extremely problematic. Soiling condensation affect the performance of PV systems greatly degrades their power output. Covering panels during non-operation will improve overall efficiency reduce soiling. In present study, a motorized curtain is developed to cover module surface nights storms. This system successfully reduced impact accumulation soiling could efficiencies. study also experimentally investigates utilizing superhydrophobic (Laboratory prepared nano-coating) superhydrophilic coating on These two proposals heavily frequency cleaning panel; therefore, reducing water consumption; particularly for areas limited supply. uses experimental data as method demonstrate dust, humidity, nano-coating Panels. addition, PVsyst was used verify modules.
