Recycling of bioplastic waste: A review

چکیده
Replacing conventional plastics with bioplastics, i.e., that are bioderived and/or biodegradable, does not necessarily solve the issues of resource depletion and plastic waste accumulation. To come to a truly sustainable economy, growing bioplastics production must be paralleled effective end-of-life strategies for bioplastic waste, which is essential all regardless their biodegradability. While there no doubt on importance recycle biobased non-biodegradable such as bio-polyethylene terephthalate (bioPET), (bioPE), bio-polypropylene (bioPP), scenario clear biodegradable biodegradation often seen only acceptable option. However, normally aimed at recovering materials or monomers reintroduced in life cycle products, while this specifically aim other types recycling options, mechanical chemical recycling, address both management primary preservation. Hence, since will coexist decades come, it vital find best pathways each most common bioplastics.
