چکیده
Recovery of severely deformed ferrite was followed in situ by High Energy X Ray Diffraction during heating and isothermal holding experiments. Dislocation densities annealing were determined a modified Williamson Hall method. The deduced recovery kinetics compared to post-mortem hardness measurements. A temperature dependent saturation exhibited holding. density drop behavior cannot be reproduced simultaneously the classical physically based models.

Nanostructure by high-energy X-ray diffraction
X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) has long been used to determine the atomic-scale structure of materials. This technique is based on the fact that the wavelength of X-rays is comparable to the distances between atoms in condensed matter. When a material exhibiting a long-range (i.e. at least micrometers), periodic atomic order, such as a crystal, is irradiated with X-rays it acts as an extended, well-de...
متن کاملThermal Stability of ZnS Nanowires Studied by Using In-situ Heating X-ray Diffraction
The thermal stability of ZnS nanowires grown in a Au/Pd-mediated vapor-liquid-solid manner was studied by using an X-ray diffractrometer equipped with an in-situ heating system. Using an in-situ heating X-ray system, we monitored the structural degradation of ZnS nanowires in the temperature range from 25 ◦C to 900 ◦C. From the X-ray diffraction data recorded from 25 ◦C to 900 ◦C, the as-synthe...

متن کاملIn situ high-energy x-ray diffraction study of the local structure of supercooled liquid Si.
Employing the technique of electrostatic levitation, coupled with high-energy x-ray diffraction and rapid data acquisition methods, we have obtained high quality structural data more deeply into the supercooled regime of liquid silicon than has been possible before. No change in coordination number is observed in this temperature region, calling into question previous experimental claims of str...
