چکیده
The process of recovering metals from electronic waste has become an important topic in recent years. In this work, the recovery electrolytic copper ashes produced during pyrolysis electrical and equipment (WEEE) was sought. Three gravimetric separation were used: Wilfley table, JIG screen, mechanical screen. This last method used with without previous grinding processes. initially characterized by XRD to determine phases present. initial concentration carried out physicochemical classification. results obtained show that sieve processes best performance, reaching a percentage about 87% metal present within WEEE 16 minutes. application vertical system on material samples fairly wide density difference allowed optimal for metallic ash. On other hand, screens obtains values much lower than those sieve.

Adsorption of copper and zinc by biochars produced from pyrolysis of hardwood and corn straw in aqueous solution.
Biochars produced by pyrolysis of hardwood at 450 °C (HW450) and corn straw at 600 °C (CS600) were characterized and investigated as adsorbents for the removal of Cu(II) and Zn(II) from aqueous solution. The adsorption data were well described by a Langmuir isotherm, with maximum Cu(II) and Zn(II) adsorption capacities of 12.52 and 11.0 mg/g for CS600, 6.79 and 4.54 mg/g for HW450, respectively...

The electrocoagulation/flotation process is a novel approach in mining industry that is implemented to return Cu metal to the production cycle, which improves copper recovery and reduces waste water. In this research work, the response surface methodology was applied to optimize the factors effective in Cu metal recovery and sludge volume produced from thickener overflow. To this end, the D-opt...
متن کاملTreatment and Recovery of Heavy Metals from Incinerator Ashes
High levels of potentially leachable toxic metals such as Pb, Cd, and Cr, in the ash residues require consideration of treatment technologies prior to disposal or utilization of the ashes in other applications. Extraction studies revealed information on the leaching characteristics of the ashes and on the ability of the extraction solutions to separate these metals from the ash matrix. The kine...
متن کاملPrediction Total Specific Pore Volume of Geopolymers Produced from Waste Ashes by Fuzzy Logic
In the present work, total specific pore volume of inorganic polymers (geopolymers) made from seeded fly ash and rice husk bark ash has been predicted by fuzzy logic. Different specimens, made from a mixture of fly ash and rice husk bark ash in fine and coarse form together with alkali activator made of water glass and NaOH solution, were subjected to porosimetry tests at 7 and 28 days of curin...
