چکیده

Soil salinity has become a major constraint to rice productivity in the coastal region of Bangladesh, which threatened food security. Therefore, field experiment was conducted at salt stressed Shyamnagor Upazilla Satkhira district improve soil status, sustainable production and suppression global warming potentials. Selected amendments viz. trichocompost, tea waste compost, azolla compost phospho-gypsum (PG) were applied plots one week prior transplanting. In addition, proline solution (25 mM) on transplanted plants active vegetative stage. Gas samples from paddy collected by Closed Chamber technique analyzed Chromatograph. The 25% replacement chemical fertilizer (i.e., 75% NPKS) with Azolla Phospho-gypsum increased grain yield 4.7% - 7.0%, 2.3% 7.1% 11.9% 16.6% 9.5% 14.2% during dry boro cultivation, while increments 5.0% 7.6%, 10.2%, 12.8% 15.3% 10.2% recorded wet Aman season respectively, compared chemically fertilized (100% plot. least GWPs 3575 3650 kg CO2 eq./ha found PG Cyanobacterial mixture (T10) (T8) amended field, maximum 4725 4500 NPKS (100%, T2) (75%) (T5) cultivation. overall properties improved significantly selected amendments, electrical conductivity (EC), pH Na+ cation decreased, eventually status. Conclusively, cyanobacteria inoculation application could be an effective option reclaim saline soils, sustaining reducing
