چکیده
Adsorption-based heat transformation systems are studied from the twentieth century; however, their performance is low to replace conventional systems. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) providing a new class of micro- and nano-porous organic adsorbents. These have adjustable geometry/topology with large surface area pore volume. A comparison coefficient (COP) between MOFs adsorbents-based cooling made for years 1975–2020. Conventional adsorbents achieve COP 0.85, whereas it improved 2.00 in case MOFs. The main bottleneck lower level adsorption equilibrium amount. This study aimed provide comprehensive detail water-vapor physicochemical properties hydrophilic Zn based not stable presence water-vapors, MIL series, Zr, Ni, Cu relatively more stable. Among MOFs, MIL-101(Cr) possesses highest uptake 1.45 kg/kg at 25 °C (saturation condition) outperformed applications. Its can be increased 1.60 by coating graphite oxide. For water desalination, MIL-53(Al) exhibits specific daily production 25.5 m3/ton.day (maximum) power 789.4 W/kg. Both found promising which considered various

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted considerable attention for various applications due to their tunable structure, porosity and functionality. In general, MOFs have been synthesized from isolated metal ions and organic linkers under hydrothermal or solvothermal conditions via one-spot reactions. The emerging precursor approach and kinetically tuned dimensional augmentation strategy ...
متن کاملHeat-treatment of metal–organic frameworks for green energy applications
Increasing population, global climate change, and dwindling fossil fuel reserves have led to a green energy revolution in the past few years, particularly in the fields of green energy generation and storage. While fuel cell, lithium-ion batteries, and supercapacitors are far from technical jargon in today's world, the sheer number of these devices is not accurately exhibited in the consumer ma...
متن کاملWater adsorption in porous metal-organic frameworks and related materials.
Water adsorption in porous materials is important for many applications such as dehumidification, thermal batteries, and delivery of drinking water in remote areas. In this study, we have identified three criteria for achieving high performing porous materials for water adsorption. These criteria deal with condensation pressure of water in the pores, uptake capacity, and recyclability and water...
